Acting Tuition. How Do You Know What Is Right For You?
The first thing to consider about the type of tuition you want is the cost. This is because acting tuition comes in two basic forms, Group (sometimes called workshops) and One to One (often called Face to Face). iPOP! Acting Competition Success Stories Continue to Pop
Los Angeles (PRWEB) May 13, 2008 -- Joseph Beauchamp, President of iPOP!, is standing tall today as he and his associates at iPOP! (International Presentation of Performers) continue to celebrate more iPOP! success stories. A shining example of just how impressive iPOP! has become in the last few years with connecting children and teenage actors to Hollywood, one only needs to marvel at the rise of two iPOP! attendees, Chris and Doug Brochu.
Brothers from Tampa, Florida, Chris and Doug Brochu attended iPOP! in New York in 2006 and agents, managers and casting directors who were at iPOP! looking to sign fresh faces quickly took note of these young men. Because of multiple interest specified from the many different agents and managers, the Brochu family decided to move to Hollywood. Since making that decision, Chris and Doug have signed with agent, Jackie Lewis who has clients on Hannah Montana and in High School Musical.
In the short time that Chris and Doug Brochu have lived in Hollywood, Chris Brochu has booked appearances on television shows Hannah Montana, Zoey 101 and Unfabulous as well as in the film Pose Down and the lead in feature film Solar Flares. Chris has made a public service announcement for StandUp and has filmed national commercials for Guitar Hero, Sunkist, Mitsubishi and appeared in a Bowling for Soup video.
Doug Brochu has also appeared on Nickelodeon television series Zoey 101 as well as their series iCarly and is a series regular on the Disney Channel sitcom Sketchpad. Doug has also filmed national commercials for Cingular, HBO, Allstate Insurance and national commercials for video game Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and on-line game Maple Story.
International Presentation of Performers, iPOP! is the successful merger of the music and acting industry with fashion and modeling, creating one of the largest and most well respected events for aspiring actors, singers, dancers and models to attend. Inaugurated in July 2005 with two conventions annually, iPOP! has already introduced close to seven thousand talented children, teenagers and young adults to the most respected agents, managers, producers and casting agents in the business today. iPOP! participants ranging from the ages of six to twenty-five years old attend iPOP! events knowing in many cases that their audition may lead to modeling contracts with Wilhelmina, Elite, MMG or LA Models as it already has for several recent iPOP! graduates who have done fashion layouts for such industry giants as Glamour Magazine, JC Penny, Mervins, Target, Teen Magazine and Seventeen Magazine. iPOP! auditions can lead to a national commercial as was the case for recent iPOP! participants who appeared in commercials for Motorola, Cingular, L'Oreal, McDonalds, Band-Aid and Microsoft Windows.
At iPOP! children, teenagers and young adults audition in front of agents in specific industry categories headshots, commercial and television print, fashion print and runway, television, singing, dancing, monologue, scene and swimsuit. In the last three years iPOP! attendees have booked appearances on Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, Entourage, Hannah Montana, Zoey 101, Criminal Minds, Bones, Law & Order and Grey's Anatomy. They have appeared in films such as Blood Oranges, Crossing Over with Harrison Ford and The Number 23 with Jim Carey.
